Gorgeous garden roses for a vintage style wedding at Brobury House, Herefordshire
Posted on April 20th, 2017
A few weeks ago I used the first of the seasons sweet peas and some gorgeous garden roses from The Real Flower Company….straight away I was reminded of Caroline and Thomas’s wedding I did flowers for last May and realised I’d still not blogged their day beautifully captured by Gemma Williams Photography so here it is!!
Caroline chose a luxurious bouquet full of gorgeous garden roses including Prince Jardiniere, Peony Pink, White O’Hara, Cream Piaget; Exclusive Sensation and Sweet Antike spray roses as well as peonies, sweet peas, delphiniums, ammi majus, astilbe and eucalyptus foliage.
Caroline’s girls (all 8 of them!) had smaller versions of the bridal bouquet, with the same stunning mix of fragrant flowers. The pretty pastel pinks and creams set off their mismatched blush and gold vintage style dresses beautifully.
The boys looked super-smart in pale grey suit trousers, crisp white shirts and grey braces so the buttonholes were kept classic using pale spray roses, eucalyptus, some silver brunia berries and a teeny hint of pink from heather out of my garden.
As you can see, there is sooo much pretty in these wedding flowers, garden roses and sweet peas are in my top 5 favourite flowers so I was always going to love this combination! Thanks to Gemma Williams Photography for letting me share these beautiful images, you can see more of her work at www.gemmawilliamsphotography.co.uk
