Something to brighten the January blues by heading back to the sunnier days of June and taking a look at Sarah and John’s beautiful wedding at Homme House, Herefordshire, with some stunning images from Russell Lewis Photography; and a few extras of my own!
The couple chose a pretty palette of lavenders and lilacs with pops of pink and purple and I used a mix of flowers including roses, aster, lisianthus, statice, waxflowers, hydrangeas and peonies with ferns and eucalyptus for a relaxed, natural feel.
Sarah chose to have a tear-drop style trailing bouquet which worked perfectly with the shape of her gorgeous gown while the bridesmaids had loose, natural hand-tied bouquets using the same flowers in soft lilac and lavender tones.
The tables in the marquee each had one of my cut glass vases filled with a pretty mix of flowers and a few single roses in vintage glass bud vases.

The top table was decorated with a traditional long, low arrangement in a country garden style with trailing foliage and fragrant flowers.
Adding some wow-factor to the marquee were three huge hanging balls of flowers! Jam-packed with beautiful blooms including hydrangeas, roses, chrysanths, freesias and lisianthus they were a real show stopper and were one of my favourite creations from the 2015 season even if they did test my nerve when putting them up!
I also decorated the staircase inside the main house with a garland of foliages, hydrangeas and roses.
So there you have it, a flower-filled summer wedding at Homme House, I hope you enjoyed browsing through the images as much as I enjoyed creating the floral designs!
There’s so many stunning 2015 weddings still to share with you so do keep checking back to my blog for new posts and in the meantime I’ll leave you with a beautiful picture of the happy couple!
